SAN ANTONIO -- He stood tall for decades, but the 'Tin Man' is no more.
The Tin Man water tower in Alamo Heights was dismantled Monday. The tower was outdated and in the way of a new municipal building that will be built. The 131-foot-tall water tower had been there since the 1920's.
Parts of the tower will be salvaged and used in the new city building.
