SAN ANTONIO -- Three people were injured when a dump truck collided with a car on the Southeast Side Wednesday morning.
The accident happened around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday on South Presa at Southeast Loop 410. News 4 San Antonio was told a dump truck and a gray Nissan were both traveling south on South Presa. The dump truck was traveling in the inside lane when the driver of the Nissan tried to turn left in front of it. The dump truck crashed into the Nissan and pushed it into a Texas Department of Transportation 18-wheeler that was stopped at the light.
The two people in the Nissan were both injured. One of them was taken to University Hospital, the other to Mission Trail Baptist Hospital. The driver of the dump truck suffered a broken arm. He was also taken to Mission Trail Baptist Hospital. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
The driver of the TxDOT truck was not injured.
