SAN ANTONIO - A string of copper thefts isn't unusual, but what these thieves are stealing, is.

A man and two women have hit six McDonald's restaurants in San Antonio.

They're not taking money or food, they're taking flush valves from the commodes.

The thefts began back on December 12.

The thieves were seen leaving in a light-colored Chevy Lumina with paper tags.

If you have any information that can help police catch the thieves, call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

There is a $1,000 reward for information that leads to their arrests.

Funny. This is not bizarre if its been going on since 1992 starting in New York. Anyway, i reckon there is a crooked plumber or two out there. Use the yellow pages. You'll find them. Better yet, shop around for a flush valve and see who gives you a good deal. Thats your guy then.
