SAN ANTONIO -- Five men are on the run after police say they broke into a wholesale store on the northwest side. It happened at the Sam’s Club on Dezavala just after 1:00 a.m. Monday.

Police say the suspects broke a window in the front door to get into the building. Employees who were still in the store told police the men loaded several televisions and some jewelry onto a truck before driving away in some type of work truck.

There were no injuries reported.

If I'm not mistaken, the same incident happened right before Christmas at a Sams Club. Sounds like an "inside job" to me! Watch your employee's, you never know who they are associated with.

Whoo Hoo! A Super Bowl party with bling! They got the good booze last week. Watch out Pizza Hut & Wing Stop, they're gonna need some snacks.

Crazy idea: why don't these stores invest in some break proof glass and other crime prevention features. Wouldn't that be cheaper than paying for thefts and high insurance premiums? Walmart could certainly afford this and these monkeys wouldn't be able to smash and grab. The west side of I-10 is continuing its decline into ghetto/barrio ville.
