NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas --
The Scooter Store is cutting approximately 150 positions.
A company spokesperson said about 100 of the layoffs will be at their location in New Braunfels.
A statement released by the company said the cuts are part of a company wide cost savings plan and are "a result of recent announcements by government agencies related to fundamental changes in claims processing procedures and reductions in reimbursement amounts."
