This story should of been titled: Americans still dying in Afghanistan. The Soviet Union, our biggest threat to US during the cold war could not defeat the Afghans. They withdrew and left tanks and planes as a junk yard reminder to the future. Known as the Soviet Unions Vietnam War, we have not learned. Alot of bloodshed could of been avoided if Clintons administration would have not allowed Osama to slip away.
