SEGUIN, Texas – A Halloween assault has led to charges being filed against four Texas Lutheran University students.

In a written press release, the Seguin Police Department says the four are associated with the TLU football program.

The Oct. 31, 2009 incident happened at a private residence on E. Hampton St. in Seguin. The alleged victim was an University of the Incarnate Word athlete.

Warrants for Aggravated Assault were issued for Jonathan D. Randle, 22, Sahr S. Bindi, 26, Joshua D. McNeil, 22, and Ernesto S. Garcia, 23, all currently of Seguin.

Police say Randle, Bindi, and Garcia were all arrested without incident and booked into the Guadalupe County Jail.

McNeil turned himself in to authorities.
