SAN ANTONIO -- Two juveniles are in custody after police say they stole beer from a gas station and attempted to break into an apartment.
The teens reportedly stole some beer from a Valero store at the intersection of Weir and General McMullen around 6:00 a.m. Friday. While officers were searching a nearby apartment complex in the 1700 block of Thompson Place, they came across two teens they said were using a table to break into one of the units and were attempting to fight with the person living there.
When an officer tried to take one of teens into custody, the other reportedly took a swing at the officer and then took off on foot. Police found him a short time later inside a vacant home.
