SAN ANTONIO - A teenaged girl who performed at President Barack Obama's inauguration has been shot and killed.
Hadiya Pendleton, 15, was shot in the back on Tuesday in Chicago.
Police said she and a group of teens were under a canopy when an unidentified man jumped a fence, ran toward the group and opened fire.
Police said the man was not aiming at the girl, but they believe other members of the group with her were gang members.
No arrests have been made.
Pendleton attended a selective college prep school and was a band majorette.
