SAN ANTONIO - A sophomore at Incarnate Word High School is turning lime into limeade to raise money for a San Antonio children's charity.

Andrea Canchola, 15, is hosting her 10th annual "Andrea's Limeade Picnic in the Park" on Saturday at O.P. Schnabel Park on Bandera Road.

It's something she thought up when she was just five and told her parents she was bored.

"I get that warm, fuzzy feeling cause I'm giving back to someone. I'm not keeping anything for myself," said Canchola. "I know that it's going somewhere that will use the clothes and money".

The proceeds raised will go to the children at Clarity Child Guidance Center who suffer from mild to serious mental illness.

Canchola is accepting donations of gently used clothes and toys.

For your donation you will receive a hotdog, bag of chips, and fresh squeezed limeade from her grandmother's secret recipe.

They especially need under garments, socks and board games and puzzles.

If you'd like to help, stop by O.P. Schnabel Park tomorrow between noon and 5 p.m.

The park is located at 9606 Bandera Road.
