SAN ANTONIO - A teenager managed to drive himself to get help after being shot several times.

Nicholas Ornelas, 19, showed up at the Gibbs-Mart on Gibbs Sprawl near Walzem around 8:30 am Thursday morning. Police say he parked outside the store, opened his driver's side door and fell out.

When paramedics and police arrived, he refused to give them any information. He's now in critical condition after undergoing surgery for multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say the shooting may be drug-related.

It is either drug or thug related.

Wow. Hope he realizes the foolishness both in the life he appears to have chosen and in the decision to keep mum about what happened and changes his mind about both. 19 is such a young age...granted the drug life at any age is sad and pathetic, but this kid has-errr, HAD- his whole life ahead of him.
