CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- A Texas teenager who was shot in the head is speaking out about her ordeal.
Kristene Chapa and her girlfriend Mollie Olgin were both shot in June while at a nature reserve near Corpus Christi. Olgin died, and Chapa has spent the past few weeks in a rehab center.
Over the weekend, Chapa posted on her Facebook, thanking people for the prayers and telling them not to take things for granted and to buy pepper spray.
Chapa gave police a description of the suspect, but, so far, no arrests have been made.
