SAN ANTONIO - A 15-year-old is recovering at University hospital after being hit by an SUV early Monday morning.

Police say two groups of men were arguing on Dorie Street on the East Side. Two of the men jumped into a black Ford Escape and drove off, and the other group walked away.

Several minutes later, police say the SUV returned. Witnesses say the driver turned off his lights and ran down a 15-year-old in the street. The teen was taken to University hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said they have the license plate of the SUV and know who they are looking for in the attack. Those suspects face deadly conduct charges.

Teenagers like to argue too much and they should not be screwing around in the street after dark unless they are smiling real big and their eyes are open real wide.

He is innocent, he did not do anything, he thought it was a speed bump, the car always makes that sound. Another idiot.
