STOCKDALE, Texas -- Deputies in Wilson County are holding a teenager in connection with the murder of a San Antonio man whose body was found dumped in a field.

Sheriff Joe Tackitt said hog hunters discovered a body two days ago in a remote area off Longhorn Road, near State Highway 123 in Stockdale. Sheriff Tackitt identified the victim as 23-year-old Dakotah Reynolds. Tackitt said Reynolds had been shot twice, including once in the head. Kyle McKay, 18, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Stockdale for his murder. Tackitt said the two were friends and met up.

Investigators are still trying to find out what led up to the shooting. Tackitt said McKay did take off in Reynold's vehicle. He is now in the Wilson County Jail.
