SAN ANTONIO -- Emergency crews had to check out a suspicious package that was delivered to the Bexar County Elections Office Friday afternoon.

News 4 WOAI was told the 8x11 envelope was in a taped up plastic bag came in the mail, smelled like eucalyptus, and had an oily substance in the bag and on the envelope. The return address on the envelope was a military base overseas. Elections officials called police and were told to put the envelope and bag in a box until police arrived.

The box was taken outside, and bomb-sniffing dogs were called to the scene to determine whether or not the package contained any type of explosive.

I agree with Whooda Thunk. The story died at the end. Is this to be continued next week, same day, same time...like a tv drama?

Quick, get rid of it! It might be ballots from military personnel stationed overseas placing votes for GOP candidates.
