SAN ANTONIO -- A suspected truck thief managed to escape after a high speed police chase Wednesday morning.

Officers spotted a stolen truck around 5:30 a.m. and tried to get the driver to pull over. The driver refused to stop and instead tried to 'shake' officers by driving the wrong way on Interstate 35. The chase ended south of Downtown, near Big Foot Street and Maury Street, when the driver jumped out of the truck and took off on foot. Officers searched the area, but were unable to find the man.

The man was described as a bald man in his 20's who is about 5' 7" tall and who was wearing a black football jersey.

So, the suspect description sucks as usual. Was this "bald man" black, white, or hispanic? I'm betting he wasn't white or else they would have called him a skinhead.
