SAN ANTONIO -- Police responded to a major accident along Interstate 10 near Dezavala and UTSA Boulevard around 3:00am Thursday morning.

Police tell News 4 WOAI the driver lost control, and slid a mustang into a ditch in the Westbound lanes of the frontage road. Six people were inside the mustang that crashed. One of them had to be rescued.

The driver was taken into custody by police on suspicion of DWI. Police also say speed was a factor in the crash.

Traffic was shut down in the area for sometime, but has since reopened.

I wasn't aware a mustang could legally hold six passengers...

No, not DWI again. Not in San Antonio. Biggest amount of drunk drivers in the entire state. Let give them probabtion again because we know they won't do it again. They only had six people in a mustang. Must be that college education. Well he can eat wish turkey in jail.
