SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio Police arrested a man accused of shooting another man outside a north side nightclub in 2011.

Police say 21-year-old Gilbert Garcia shot Jose Zamora outside the Mink Ultra Lounge on Bitters Road on Sept. 18, 2011.  Investigators say Zamora and his friends got into an altercation with a group inside the nightclub and the fight spilled outside into the parking lot.  Zamora and Garcia were not directly fighting with each other, investigators said, but Garcia started randomly shooting out in the parking lot and shot Zamora.  He later died at San Antonio Military Medical Center.

A witness knew both Zamora and Garcia and came forward after finding out Zamora had died. Police could not say when the witness gave detectives information.
