COMFORT, Texas -- Kendall County sheriff's deputies have arrested a man they say was involved in the murder of another man in Comfort.
Deputies were called to a home in the 100 block of FM 473 around 2:00 a.m. Sunday after a man found his cousin, 30-year-old Alejandro Sanchez-Morales, on the ground and unresponsive. Investigators determined Sanchez-Morales had received serious head injuries, and an autopsy revealed he had been murdered.
A warrant for murder was then issued for 49-year-old Santos Correa Duran. Duran was arrested and booked into the Kendall County Jail. His bond was set at $200,000.
