It sounds like Converse City Employees are greedy, power hungery, worthless POS's.. I guess it would be time to move; but to where they are all lying, greedy, power hungery POS's.

I have also been battling Converse Water Department for several weeks. My bill was/is $1200. My landlord has had plumbers out 4 times, and is sending them out again this week. Converse swears I have a leak,they have replaced the meter, the plumbers have not found any leaks, and unfortunately, Converse Water does not respect the opinion of the plumbing company the management company sends out. I don't forsee any resolve, especially after a comment made yesterday by a Water Department employee insinuatng that they can't prove that I haven't had a plumber come and fix something causing my water bill to drop $900 this month. This month my bill is $90, still high for 2 people, but, at least it isn't the $1300 they want now (with penalties for not paying)

Well last week I did have a water leak in Converse. They turned off my water, I had a sick child throwing up at the house. When I got home my repair man turned on the water to where the leak was the Water Department guy called the police. They locked down the box and told us they would only come out when a plumber arrived. Mean while we were not allowed to fill a bathtub or buckets for the toilets. My child was admitted with huge gall stones. The next day my plumber made the scene and fixed the leak. It was not a gusher.

I got a $4,000 bill from SAWS. Took them a while to take is off but the next month they had the late fee still on the bill. Threatened to cut me off for not paying the late fee. Now SAWS wants 9.9% more...No way!
