SAN ANTONIO -- It's the decade of Downtown. Hundreds of lofts are opening and luring people South instead of north, and the city has incentive programs to attract businesses too. But one thing is missing -- a grocery store.
It's been a complaint for years. But Wednesday, the city got definitive proof that one is needed. A study was done to see if the Downtown area could support a grocery store. The verdict -- Yes!
Now that the study shows a business can survive, more investors could open up to the idea.
