SAN ANTONIO - A 17-year-old boy in Maryland is in critical condition after police said he was shot by another student on the first day of school.
A second shot was fired when a teacher grabbed the gunman and wrestled him for the gun.
No one else was injured and the shooting suspect was arrested.
The school was evacuated and students were taken to a nearby shopping center where they met up with their parents.
Police are calling the teacher a hero.
