It was only a matter of time. They Jaywalk, text and pay no attention. When you honk your horn to let them know of your presence they flip you the bird and cuss at you. Time for some discipline at home.

Another website stated that the driver would not be fined. But since it is against the law, and SAPD was suppose to be giving tickets to the violaters according to the news a few weeks ago, is this student going to be fined? People of any age are not going to comply with laws unless they are fined for doing wrong. They get an "F" for failing a class, they should be fined for breaking the law. I'm tired of dodging jaywalkers, too.

I don't know how many times I've seen students jaywalk crossing that street. The school doesn't do anything to stop the practice. They need to post their precious SAISD police there to ensure students are obeying the law.
