SA ANTONIO - Heavy winds are being blamed for several power outages across San Antonio Tuesday night.

Strong, gusty winds are being blamed for blowing down a tree on McCullough Avenue near Downtown. That tree knocked down a power line when it fell. That same tree also fell on top of a passing car that was driving down McCullough.

"The power lines got taken out as it fell. So in front of us it is all lightning and behind us the glass is shattering out of the back of the car. So it was something else!" said the driver who's car was hit.

Police were forced to close McCullough because of that downed power line.

CPS Energy reported Tuesday evening that 750 people across San Antonio were without power.

@Indiemom....Easy. It's any area where God is not put first. There are far too many of those up north. Yankees are doomed. Wait and see, you'll see more "natural" (Gods wrath) disasters there.

@Born Again...I pray you don't take the insults of these heathens to heart. Stay strong. God sent his wrath to San Antonio because of the Godless heathens. Am I correct in my belief that there are too many Democrats in that city? I used to live in Pennsylvania and I just couldn't take it any more. There are not enough Christian areas there. God is angry and so am I.

@ Born Again-- the "Christian areas in the north"???? Just how do you define that? What are the boundaries of the "Christian areas"? I hope you're not as stupid as that comment makes you look.
