SAN ANTONIO- Bexar County Sheriff's Deputies are closer to arresting the alleged gunman who they believe fired about a dozen shots outside a Northeast Side strip mall. The shooting happened around three o’clock Sunday afternoon when bullets flew all over the parking lot and into the Binz-Engelman Road near Mystic Sunrise.

Officers said one man was hit by a stray bullet then three suspects sped off. Bexar County Sheriff's Deputy James Hutmacher said it all started when the suspects walked into the Wez-Mart convenience store with a gun.

“I think we have three or four shots through the metal pull down door,” explained Deputy Hutmacher, “and then the one shot that went through the wall in the Old Soldiers Club. And that's the one where he just happened to be leaning against the wall and he got hit in the shoulder”.

The victim was hit in the shoulder and is expected to be OK. The alleged gunman is expected to be charged with aggravated robbery. Officers are also looking into the arrests of two other suspects believed to be involved in the shooting.
