Stolen iPads found at bottom of river, 14-year-old suspect arrested

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- News Braunfels police say they found six iPads stolen from the New Braunfels Independent School District at the bottom of a river.

Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy suspected of stealing the iPads. Thirty-one devices are still missing.

If you see one, call Comal County Crime Stoppers at 830-620-TIPS (8477).

The missing iPads are etched with "Property of New Braunfels ISD."

@cook you are right. It IS outrageous that schools spend taxpayer money buying IPads for juveniles ;) @Gayperson what's the T-bagger party? Is that the party you had at your house the other night with other GayAtheists? Why is it called T-bagging?

No one takes credit for the story because this is not journalism. A journalistic story answers six questions: Who, What, Why, When, Where, and How. Clear Channel is not a news org..it's a political wing of the dying T-bagger Party.

It matters to me because I want to know how they found them... did somebody tip them off? Was it just a random find? Did somebody wee the kid throwing them there?

What difference does it make if they "happened to be dredging the river" or not. The focus of this story is that some delinquent 14 year old stole from a school and then threw some of the items in the river. Why do children do such idiotic things? These things were bought with funds from the taxpayers. This kind of behavior is outrageous. He should have to do community service for the rest of his childhood until he turns the age of 18.
