SAN ANTONIO -- The state has taken temporary custody of two children whose parents have been charged in connection with the death of a 5-year-old boy.
Josiah Williams was found dead at a Southeast Side home on December 27th. Investigators said the boy was severely malnourished and showed signs of repeated abuse.
Josiah's father and stepmother, Charleston and Crystal Williams, were arrested and charged with injury to a child. The couple is due back in court on January 25th.
Police also arrested the Crystal Williams' mother Gloria Proo. She is also charged with injury to a child.
