SAN ANTONIO -- A police standoff at a West Side apartment complex ended peacefully Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the Stablewood Farms Apartments in the 8300 block of Lake Vista shortly before 8:00 a.m. Tuesday. A San Antonio Police Department spokesperson said the call came in as a domestic disturbance.
Officers said a woman's ex-boyfriend showed up at her apartment and wanted to be let inside. The woman was able to keep the situation calm enough to get herself and her three small children out of the apartment and call police.
Officers were, at first, unable to establish contact with the ex-boyfriend. However, SWAT negotiators were called to the scene and were able to talk the man into surrendering peacefully.
