CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A newspaper in North Carolina is reporting the son of Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is facing criminal charges.
The Charlotte Observer reports 19-year-old William Hilton Paul was arrested Saturday morning at the Charlotte airport. The newspaper reports Paul is charged with underage drinking and disorderly conduct.
The newspaper quotes police as saying it's possible Paul was served alcohol on the flight from Lexington, Ky., to Charlotte.
William Paul is the grandson of former presidential candidate and Texas congressman Ron Paul.
