Soldier reunited with best friend at Lackland

It's mission accomplished for a U.S. Army veteran who started a Facebook campaign to find the military dog he deployed with in Iraq. Not only did he find the Lab, he adopted him.

I'm SOOOoooo happy about this reunion. I'd been rooting for them, because it's not always easy for the red tape to be breached for happy endings like this. God bless Logan and Diego.

The look in Diego's eyes is something everyone should see. I'm sure it reflects unconditional love and devotion for Logan and an incomprehensible comfort to be with his human soulmate. This bond is impossible to explain but unmistakeable when present. My wish for Logan and Diego is to enjoy every minute of this special gift for as long as they have--but it will never be long enough.
