Forget it. This is not a good deal por THE PEOPLE of San Antonio. It will look great on the city rulers' resume', but it really does little for the voters. Why don't we use these 12 millions of dollars to create a company that can build the solar panels here? Solar panels are very simple to put together. There's something fishy here. Also, if they install the panels high enough, we can use the grounds to run a flea market or something really productive.

This is the company that hasn't manufactured a SINGLE solar panel, is NOT U.S. based, part of the "deal" developed with Obama sitting at the table. I wonder how much money is foreign country contributed to Obamas campaign, and what Castro was promised to make this deal go through. This is a bad deal all the way around and Cisneros, i mean Castro, is going to screw us all long after he is gone. He can leave this city for washington all he wants but not at our expense.

The ordinance/contract is bogus......The City issued unconstitutional criminal trespass warnings to at least two law-abiding citizens. By illegally denying access to public Council meetings they violate the Texas Open Meetings Act making ALL ordinances/contracts passed during the illegal meetings voidable via the courts. When Nexolon sells the plant (in bankruptcy or otherwise) will they pocket the 12-million dollars the City is putting into the purchase? How is the taxpayers investment to be secured?

Was not Castro the keynote speaker at the Democrat Convention no less? Did he not get the talking points that rich corporate executives and corporate board members were not paying their fair share? Okay so we are giving a sweetheart deal to a Korean Company by paying over 2/3rd's of the cost for the land and a 10 year tax abatement. I can see encouraging businesses to locate here but not like that. I vote no but then again it doesn't matter what San Antonians think unless of course we have money/power.
