SAN ANTONIO - According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are not enough mechanics in the country.
People in the industry say people are losing interest in the field because they may not realize what it has to offer. Future mechanics need to be highly trained technicians who can pinpoint problems and figure out an answer.. not just change the oil.
Current mechanics say the jobs are good, plentiful, and pay well.
