I agree, it used to be if your occupation were a mechanic you'd be shown the respect you earned. Now you have to have a degree in international studies or be a marine biologist feeding a lazyass oversized mammal a fish at Sea World. Now we have a shortage, what a shock.

Ah but today everyone is supposed to go to college, not technical or apprentice schools. Even if you wind up majoring in some worthless degree like liberal arts all the educrats and politicians do is push college, college, college. Your a failure if you don't go to college. Meanwhile you cant find a good mechanic and those who are good at it are cleaning up with no college debt, good wages and job security.
