HOUSTON, Texas -- Police are searching for a woman they say left her daughter at a store after she was caught shoplifting.
Investigators say the 21-year-old and a second woman were shoplifting from a Target store. When the pair was caught, they ran out of the store, leaving the 21-year-old woman's 1-year-old daughter in the shopping cart.
Her alleged accomplice was detained and later told police everything.
The infant is now with family. Her mother hasn't been caught, but police are looking for her.
