Shooting victim runs to Downtown restaurant for help

SAN ANTONIO -- A person injured during in a drive-by shooting Wednesday afternoon ran to a Downtown restaurant for help.

Police said someone in a PT Cruiser pulled up to a sedan near IH-37 and Commerce around 2:45 p.m. and opened fire.

One person inside the sedan was hit. That person ran to the Denny's restaurant at Commerce and Bowie Street for help. The victim was taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are also trying to determine if a second person was hit during the shooting.
