WILSON COUNTY, Texas -- A Wilson County sheriff's investigator accused of inappropriately touching a young female is now out of a job.
Investigator Carloz Garza was arrested Wednesday. Garza is accused of illegally searching a woman during an interview last week.
Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt said he immediately called in Texas Rangers to investigate Garza once he got a call about the alleged attack a few days ago.
"It's very disturbing. I mean you think you know people." explained Sheriff Tackitt. "But evidently, there's always some little part there that you don't really know what's going on."
Garza's worked with the Wilson County Sheriff's Department since 1994. News 4 WOAI was told he resigned from his job after getting out of jail on bond.
