It's a shame that these kids die in wrecks due to stupidity on the part of the driver, but wait a minute isn't it illegal to ride in a vehicle without a seat belt on? If that's not the case we need to add that to Obama's new gun control laws. It will be just about as effective! Oh yeah don't drink and drive. Don't cheat on your taxes, rich folks. Don't rob or steal. We need more useless laws that nobody obeys anyway. Why not enforce the laws on the books now. If those kids had worn seat belts they might be alive today. Maybe.

Around 9:15am dark clouds rolled into town (Castroville, TX), it looked like the dead of night. There was a lot of lightening, high winds, and heavy rain but thank goodness no hail were I was at.

Dark skies and hard rain at Dixie Flag Manufacturing Company. The high winds and storm came on so quickly, we did not have time to take down our huge 30'x60' flag. Hopefully she will survive the storm.

Looks like no one had any rain photos so woai just dumped a variety of old comments - some back in 2009 - all on non related subjects!! I did hear thunder last night but no rain. I even ran the sprinkler at 10:00 pm hoping it would rain. No rain downtown either.

Wasn't this a request to post photos about rain? I came to see pictures and people are discussing other stories, ghosts in some park (random, by the way!) and the Spurs. Did anyone actually SEE rain today?

I am a Witch that has been peacefully Circle Casting at Comanche Lookout Park since November of 2007. When I noticed your story of possible Paranormal activity involving Ghostly apparitions I wanted to share some of my experiences with you. On the southwest corner of the parks property, there is a mischievous Girl Spirit that likes to sneak up and follow behind people. Most people do not even know she is following them but she is very careful at not being seen. I am not sure why she feels compelled to follow people, however that is what motivates her to stay in the park. In addition to Circle Casting, I also had a Vision Quest I partook on Sunday November 25, 2007. During my Quest, I had a vision of an elder Shamanistic Priest along with unknown Indian Spirits that feel the need to stay in the area, guard it and keep it a Sacred Place. They are always watching the visitors at the park and how they conduct themselves on the Sacred Ground the elder believes this area is. Thanks for allowing me to share a few experiences I had with the park, I absolutely love the area and feel at peace there. I only hope that people can have the opportunity to get reconnected with Nature and hopefully see that there is more to life than what our superficial eyes can see. Blessings! sir-phil@Writing.Com
