CIBOLO, Texas -- The search is on for "Stewey."
Stewey, a long-haired Chihuahua, was stolen from the Cibolo Animal Control shelter, and Cibolo police say someone was spotted ditching him on Wednesday. Animal control officers and the dog's owners tried to catch Stewey, but he ran off. If you see Stewey, please immediately contact Cibolo Animal Control at 210-659-1999.
Surveillance video captured a man taking Stewey from a cage over the weekend, but the dog's owner says she doesn't recognize the man. If you recognize him, call Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers at 830-303-TIPS (8477).
