SeaWorld worker dead after electrical shock

SAN ANTONIO - A SeaWorld San Antonio employee was electrocuted at the theme park over the weekend.

Paramedics responded to a call for help shortly before 11:00 a.m. Saturday. A spokesperson for the park told News 4 WOAI 49-year-old Ricardo Corpus suffered an electrical shock while working on an air conditioning unit. Emergency crews tried to resuscitate Corpus, but were unsuccessful.

In a statement, SeaWorld said they are deeply saddened at the loss of their employee.

I was there on Saturday and all the news vans out front was a clue something might have happened, we thought maybe it was just a back to school clip. Very sad.
