What I don't understand, How can this Officer or Officer's arrest ANY drunk driver's after this mess? The taxpayer's deserve the following: Accountability, Trust, Integrity and Honesty. Sadly, this is what the taxpayer's of San Antonio have to deal with. The public loses their respect for them. SHAME ON ALL OF THESE OFFICER'S INVOLVED. Makes you not feel sorry for them when tragic happens to one of them in the line of duty. Unfortunately, this is what happens when CORRUPTION IS ENTERTAINED.

If anyone else would have been pulled over they would have gone down town and went through the process like everyone else. I am sure that those that have been through it would have much rather been sent home on administrative "LEAVE"

SAPD, remember this the next time you want to arrest someone for drunk driving, You can't expect to enforce the law when you're flat out breaking it. Fire the drunks!

Thank God no one was injured. He better take warning to his second chance at life and be glad he didn't kill someone. The Officers who covered for him did so because he was probably their superior. Damnded if you do...damned if you don't! We all make stupid mistakes...learn from those mistakes people!!

"I don't take this lightly. I take this very, very seriously and I think our actions have proven it," said McManus. McManus would not identify any of the officers involved and he would not release the results of the blood or urine test. He also wouldn't detail what lead up to the accident or where the sergeant was headed. yeah he's serious

it seems that there is a double standard with people in positions with authority. mcmanus should release the pictures of the officers involved in this incident. the media certainly would put the pictures of everyday people on the news and in the newspaper, but where are they in this case? i wonder how many times this happens and we dont hear about it? i have lost faith in public servants abusing their authority. the police dept should hold all the officers invovled just as they would the average person who did the same offense. will it happen, proably not.
