SAN ANTONIO -- Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting last month on the East Side.
Larry Coleman is charged with aggravated assault. Police believe the 21-year-old shot a man on Belmont on November 12th during a fight over a truck.
The victim told police he had allowed a man he knew as "Face" to use his truck, and Face had refused to return it. The victim said he used a spare key to get into the truck and was driving away when Face began shooting at him. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his head. He was able to drive to a nearby gas station and get help.
Police said that several days later both men showed up at the police department property room at the same time. The victim said he was there to pick up some personal property, when Face confronted him in the waiting room. The victim then notified police.
Coleman had provided his drivers license in order to pick up some property from an unrelated incident, and police were able to use the information to fully identify him and track him down.
