Well I am not surprised by this story... I live in Olmos Park. In 2008 I had $2,000,000.00 worth of art stolen from my home. Even though then Assistant Chief of Police Daniel Causey recovered one painting during a raid in California the Olmos Park Police department stated the investigation would continue if new evidence came about. That was the claim promised by Olmos Park Police Chief Solis one day before he left the department. A San Antonio Express article from Sept. 2nd shows a photo of me and says I am there discussing returned paintings. That was absolutely untrue. I entered the room just one second and immediately walked out. I could tell before even stepping one foot into the room that what was on the table was not mine and unable to keep from breaking down exclaimed the items were not mine and that they were items the department had known for months were not mine. They lied also saying that more than half of my art was returned. Less than half of the value in fact is back home. The department ambushed me completely for the story and photograph. What is going on in Olmos Park is tragic really.
