SAN ANTONO -- A vigil was held Tuesday night at Alamo United Methodist church to remember the San Antonio Independent School District bus driver who was killed in a trajic bus accident.

63-year-old Dolores Martinez was headed north of Foster road Monday morning when she apparently lost control and drove onto the median. The SAISD school bus collided with a Judson ISD bus around 7am.

Martinez was not a member of  Alamo United Methodist church, but church members said they wanted to hold a vigil since the church is located just up the road from where the crash happened.

Family and friends of the 63-year-old attended the vigil. "This is still just a shock to us we are still overcome by all of this, we can't believe this is happening, " said Janie Medellin, an SAISD co-worker.

The family said a funeral service for Martinez will be held on Friday at St. Henry's Catholic Church on S. Flores St. The service will begin at 10am.
