SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Police Department is reaching out to the public as they try to find the victim of a robbery that happened Friday at North Star Mall.
Police arrested James Williams, 25, claiming Williams tried to rob a woman of her iPhone at the mall.
The woman fought back and bystanders also came to her aid.
Williams was arrested but the woman left before police could question her, detectives said.
"If that victim today is watching the news, and I hope they are, please contact the Robbery Task Force Unit so we can successfully get a case from you as well," SAPD Sgt. Russ Van Geffen said.
Police said they believe Williams may be behind other iPhone robberies - phones that end up being sold on Craigslist.
Williams is facing charges of aggravated robbery, unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of a controlled substance.
Williams bail was not set as of Friday night.
