SAN ANTONIO -- A man is in jail after police say he stole several beauty products and assaulted a store employee. It happened at the Sally’s Beauty Supply in the 3100 block of S.E. Military on the southeast side.

According to the arrest warrant, 30-year-old Steven Ruiz went into the store and grabbed three flat irons off the shelf. When an employee approached him for assistance, he punched her in the mouth and walked out the door.

The employee was treated for a busted lip. Ruiz was arrested and charged with Robbery.

what an idiot (s) and to all of those that rob anywhere that tells alot about you not wanting to get a job, been lazy and wasted what can you gain about all this bad influences? stealing them to sell at these flippin' flea markets around here...they steal the high priced items and sell them there...sometimes they sell them to a fence for drug money then the fence has someone sell them at the flea markets
