Beer drinkers stick to your drinking! Don't let the city stop you from having a good time while floating down the comal river. And go ahead and pay extra for the container, it's only money you can't take it with you. But! you can pay the ultamate price for teh beer.

The solution: Float upriver before the Gruene Bridge and eliminate the can ban all together. Then the empties will float down to the New B. part of the river anyways (past Gruene Bridge) and they will still be all miffed. As for the Comal....gross, it has weeds and nastiness in it. WAAAAY too many kids also. Not really all that enthused about a turkey shoot. Give me the the jello shots, the beer bongs, the unlimited radio level, the assorted clothing options on Texas State chix and cans every day of the summer.....

Time will tell as to whether or not the NBSC wants to work with the tourism trade, or wants to continue riding rough shot on it. Kudos to this enterprising inventor. Seems like a fair compromise... that is if both sides are willing to compromise.

This whole problem would go away if TEXAS would put a put a refund deposit on the containers. all of them ! them dam things would be scooped up by people so fast one would feel a wind from it. because irregardless of what every one thinks about drinking these tubers are gonna find a way to do it.
