SAN ANTONIO -- A restaurant on the West Side caught fire twice in one day, but, luckily, no one was hurt.

The fire broke out just before 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Apetito's Mexican Restaurant on Loop 410 and Marbach. Fire investigators told us the fire started in the kitchen shortly after the owner had locked up.

Fire crews were on the scene for about three hours and left after the flames appeared to be extinguished. They were called back several hours later. Firefighters believe smoldering embers were hiding in the layers of the roof.

The fire caused close to $200,000 in damages to the restaurant.
