SAN ANTONIO -- Police are searching for a man they say robbed an elderly woman outside an East Side grocery store.
Investigators say the 77-year-old woman was walking out of the HEB in the 1000 block of South W.W. White Road at around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 7th, when a Hispanic man approached and yanked her purse away from her. The woman suffered what police call "significant bruising" during the struggle.
The man was last seen running towards W.W. White Road and North Hein Road.
