Starting Monday, a small school district in our area will have armed sheriff's deputies patrolling the campuses. It's a direct response to the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut.

Don't worry - they will still be writing tickets. But, the tickets will be going to 10 yr old kids instead.

They should have been doing this ALREADY. It's called COMMUNITY POLICING! Jeez! Glad to see a new Sheriff has made them start doing more than just writing citations. ( which has it's place )
