SAN ANTONIO -- A local woman is in jail, accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy.
The woman, 29-year-old Thelma Nicole Miles, works at a Texas Youth Commission facility operated by a private company.
An arrest warrant affidavit states Miles met the 14-year-old boy while working as a medication technician at the Abraxas Youth Center. According to the affidavit, the boy escaped from the center last week and was picked up by Miles at a cell phone store. She then allegedly took the boy to a hotel on Broadway to have sex. Police say she also admitted to taking the teen to a second hotel to have sex with him.
Miles finally took the teen to a home in Bell County, and he was then taken to the Bell County Detention Center and spoke to investigators about what happened.
Miles now faces sexual assault charges.
